The Speaker Cabinet and components
The speaker cabinet is designed with a variety of advanced cabinet joining techniques that provide added rigidity to eliminate unwanted cabinet resonances. In addition, over-engineered internal bracing and rear porting with use of exponential flares to eliminate air noise and turbulence. Premium gold-plated binding posts providing a robust connection to amplifier.

Tweeter: This speaker utilizes a 1-inch soft dome tweeter with aluminum phase plug with beautifully crafted grill that is sound transparent. This tweeter makes all high frequency sound superb and non-fatiguing. The use of a phase plug reduces high frequency cancellation that occur with conventional soft dome designs. This transducer also uses an oversized heat sink for increased power handling and optimal heat dissipation. By not using ferrofluid found in tradition tweeters, very low distortion is achieved with exceptional transient response and clarity.
Woofer: 6-inch woofer utilizing a titanium bobbin for increased heat transfer performance and provided fast transient response to perform with the most demanding music. Open chassis for reduced reflections and increased airflow with large 3-inch voice coil.
Port: FEA optimized rear placed double flared port to reduce turbulence and port noise, while providing an increased and detailed bass response.
Crossover: Hand crafted point to point soldered crossover board for increased signal fidelity with optimized component placement eliminating EMF causing crosstalk.
The Speaker Stand
Often overlooked, the speaker stand plays a crucial role to the overall sound of the speaker. Unwanted vibrations can cause resonance and need to be either isolated, absorbed, or both. The model 62’s stand is designed to both isolate and absorb unwanted vibration. The model 62 has a unique stand made of natural materials that were selected for its superb material properties and first class looks. This stand absorbs unwanted vibrations and adds mass to the overall system. The added mass lowers the natural frequencies that can cause unwanted vibration out of the audible range. The unique spikes are then coupled to the stand’s base to isolate the entire loudspeaker from the floor. This provides increased imagery, detail, and accurate bass reproduction.
